Day Camp
Directly following the completion for the school year, the Enterphase Day Treatment Program provides a Day Camp for the month of July. The camp incorporates academics, computer skills, arts and crafts, physical education, day trips and field excursions.
The camp operates from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM Monday to Friday. The Enterphase summer programs are hosted on campus by the Durham Board of Education. All Day Treatment staff are assigned to the camp as well as four academic teachers and counselors in training, former students who formally apply and are financially compensated as well as gaining an opportunity for growth and experience.
The camp naturally takes on a much more relaxed and casual light than that of the Day Treatment Program. Approximately twelve groups are developed that takes on somewhat of a competitive edge but concentrates on the development of life skills, social skills with students, teachers, childcare workers coming together in a common interest - having fun while learning academic credits are earned throughout the duration of the camp.
