Residential Services
Our staff model residences service our clients whose needs clearly require 24 hour supervision. Residents of our staff houses have continuously demonstrated a need for a more structured treatment setting. They generally have been unable to function in a less structured environment and need to work through trauma based issues and develop intra-personal strengths, coping strategies and progressive anger management techniques. Within the Treatment Milieu, Enterphase has avoided traditional "group programming" in preference of a much more normalized and individualized structure.
The following is a brief description of each of Enterphase's nine treatment residences:
Simcoe Residence:
- adolescent females (most often 11-18 years of age)
- assists adolescents who have experienced a variety of abuse life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves adolescents with trauma issues, personality disorders, learning disabilities, exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties stemming from and parental abuse, neglect, and deprivation.
Colbourne Residence:
- upper latency females (most often 9-14 years of age)
- assists adolescents who have experienced a variety of abuse life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves adolescents with trauma issues, personality disorders, learning disabilities, exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties stemming from and parental abuse, neglect, and deprivation.
Simcoe (latency) Residence:
- latency aged, co-ed home (most often 4-12 years of age)
- assists children who have experienced a variety of abusive life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves children dealing with trauma issues, personality disorders, learning disabilities, exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties stemming from parental abuse, neglect, and deprivation.
Oshawa Blvd., Residence:
- upper latency males (most often 11-18 years of age)
- assists adolescents who have experienced a variety of abusive live experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves youth with a variety of difficulties including trauma, A.D.H.D., A.D.D., exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, parental neglect and abuse and personality disorders.
Simpson, Residence:
- latency aged, co-ed home (most often 4-12 years of age)
- children in this home have had a variety of abusive life experiences and relationships and require a structure, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves children with trauma issues, personality disorders, A.D.H.D., A.D.D., exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, parental neglect and abuse.
Hilton, Residence:
- latency aged, co-ed home (most often 4-12 years of age)
- children in this home have a had a variety of abusive life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves children with trauma issues, personality disorders, A.D.H.D., A.D.D., exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, parental neglect and abuse.
Rossland, Residence:
- latency aged, co-ed home (most often 4-12 years of age)
- children in this home have a had a variety of abusive life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves children with a variety of difficulties including A.D.H.D., A.D.D., exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, parental neglect and abuse and personality disorders.
Fairway Residence:
- latency aged, co-ed home (most often 4 - 12 years of age)
- children in this home have a had a variety of abusive life experiences and relationships and require a structured, treatment oriented, and caring environment.
- this residence serves children with a variety of difficulties including A.D.H.D., A.D.D., exaggerated emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, parental neglect and abuse and personality disorders.
Dublin Residence - Female adolescent residence
- Adolescent residence for a maximum of three (3) youngsters
- Children with exaggerated behaviors and emotional difficulties that can not be met in larger staffed residence
- High risk youngsters
- Fully staffed residence 2/3 ratio
